Assistant Athletic Trainer - Angelo State University : Job Details

Assist the Director of Sports Medicine/ Head Athletic Trainer in developing and implementing the sports medicine program for intercollegiate athletics. Including assisting with injury prevention programs, injury evaluations, injury management, injury treatment and rehabilitation, educational programs and counseling for student-athletes, as well as directing graduate assistants and student employees to perform predefined tasks. Typical Duties/ Job Duties Assist the Director of Sports Medicine/ Head Athletic Trainer with athletic training services (preventative, diagnostic, and rehabilitative) for the athletic department, including attendance at scheduled team and individual practices and home and away competitions as necessary.
