The Penn State DuBois campus is seeking a highly motivated individual for the Assistant Athletic Director position. This individual would work closely with the Director of Athletics. The position requires the candidate to possess leaderships skills, ability to manage game day operations, social media, website, and marketing content, and provide a positive environment for collegiate student-athletes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Game day management
Manage athletic website and social media with guidance from campus strategic communication office
Write and publish game stories and recaps as needed
Assist coaches in maintaining the proper standards for supporting student athletes
Manage and run intramural sport opportunities for the general student population
Assist athletic director as needed with items such as budget, supervising student workers, upholding policy and procedures, assisting with Athletic Trainer management, attending meetings as needed, and other duties as assigned
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This job will require evening and weekend hours and overnight travel at times.
This is a term position from date of hire through June 30, 2027.

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
