The Role

ECB STAR is seeking a senior executive recruiter to lead its Asset & Wealth Management practice. The Practice Leader will oversee all aspects of the search lifecycle—from client acquisition to delivery—while shaping the firm's presence in the asset and wealth management sector. Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic growth plan for the Asset & Wealth Management practice
• Lead and mentor a team of consultants, associates, and researchers
• Cultivate and manage relationships with senior executives and institutional clients
• Oversee delivery of Managing Director, C-suite, and Board-level search assignments
• Promote operational excellence and ensure adherence to ECB STAR's search methodology
• Represent the firm externally through thought leadership, industry events, and client advisory.

Qualifications & Attributes

• 10+ years of executive search experience, with a focus on financial services
• 5+ years of team leadership experience
• Deep market knowledge of asset and wealth management, including institutional and UHNW segments
• Advanced degree preferred
• Strong player/coach leadership style with hands-on execution capabilities
• Outstanding judgment, executive presence, and client advisory skills
• Proven ability to manage strategic accounts, negotiate complex engagements, and develop talent
