We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee company assets across fleet operations, equipment inventory, and real estate management. This role is critical to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and long-term asset performance.
Asset Manager Key Responsibilities
· Maintain accurate GPS tracking, fuel usage logs, and mileage records for all company vehicles.
· Oversee vehicle acquisition, leasing, registration, insurance, and disposal.
· Monitor preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs.
· Ensure driver compliance with safety policies and DOT regulations (if applicable).
· Track and manage all large equipment and major inventory items across company locations.
· Develop and enforce check-in/check-out processes for equipment usage.
· Oversee maintenance schedules, repair tracking, and asset life-cycle planning.
· Maintain a centralized asset database for visibility across business units.
· Oversee company-owned and leased properties, ensuring compliance with lease terms and maintenance standards.
· Coordinate repairs, renovations, and vendor contracts for property services.
· Manage property-related budgets and expenses.
· Develop standardized procurement processes for equipment, vehicles, and supplies.
· Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers to optimize cost and quality.
· Maintain preferred vendor lists and evaluate vendor performance.
· Act as the on-site point of contact for the company's off-site IT provider.
· Coordinate hardware installations, system upgrades, and troubleshooting support.
· Ensure company assets comply with IT security and usage policies.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
· Strong knowledge of vendor management, compliance, and inventory control systems.
· Ability to manage budgets, analyze cost efficiencies, and optimize asset performance.
· Excellent organizational and communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, fleet management software, and asset tracking systems.
