Asset Manager needed for large scale company located in Ontario, CA. Will pay up to 130k.
Responsibilities to include:
- Review monthly operating statements to assess financial performance.
- Monitor compliance with program requirements specific to each deal.
- Provide portfolio-level reporting and strategic recommendations to address financial, operational, and capital planning issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections to evaluate property conditions and operations.
- Prepare financial projections and strategies to enhance cash flow for sponsor debt payments, fees, and distributions.
- Identify opportunities for refinancing, resyndication, or restructuring of assets.
- Analyze long-term property performance against original projections.
- Oversee timely and accurate distribution of reports to external stakeholders.
- Review and approve annual property budgets and audits.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Property Management, Finance, Accounting, Development, Risk Management, Compliance) and external partners (investors, lenders, regulators, auditors) to achieve property goals.
- Participate in due diligence and evaluate proformas for prospective deals to assess viability.
- Support the transition of properties from development to stabilized operations.
- Contribute to departmental and cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience.
- 3–4 years of experience in asset management or related real estate industry.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory programs within the real estate industry.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems and implement turnaround strategies in dynamic environments.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
