Assessment Specialist Supervisor

CareStar, Inc. is seeking a Assessment Specialist Supervisor who will serve as the team leader for Assessment Specialists. This role involves guiding, supporting, and evaluating the assessment team, focusing on clinical and compliance issues, staff development, and clinical reviews.

CareStar seeks motivated individuals with qualifications that may include:

• Active license as a Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Independent Social Worker, or Registered Nurse.
• Experience working with the populations served by the program, especially in home and community-based services.
• Ability to instruct, counsel, and evaluate staff, with effective communication skills and attention to detail in assessments and documentation.
• Adherence to CareStar's performance and confidentiality policies.
• Supervisory experience, including hiring, firing, and performance evaluations.
• Ensuring departmental compliance with program requirements, policies, and standards.
• Monitoring inquiries and clinical assessments, and overseeing case assignments.
• Responding to inquiries and preparing documentation for cases, including appeal processes.
