Assembly Technician - PK30 - Posted by The Council of Industry : Job Details

The Fabrication Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling aluminum and glass products according to PK-30's specifications and quality standards. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and has experience with hand and power tools. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and a willingness to learn new skills.

Fabrication/Assembly Technician

Prepare and assemble various segments of lower-level and sub-assembly components as well astop-level finished product under the direction of the immediate supervisor. Interpret and use drawings, process procedures and other written documentation to completepreparation and assembly of components. Meet documented specification requirements and qualitystandards in a timely manner. Fabricate components using various items including hand tools, power tools, fixtures, jigs, drills, taps,saws and other tools and tooling. Use various types of material handling equipment including handtrucks, carts, etc. where required and available. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area. Suggest changes for improved operations and costsavings. Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner as required in the manufacturing processsuch as: Time Sheets, Assembly Routers, Non-conformance Records. Follow all safety policies, precautions, recommendations, and procedures as may be applicable. Assist other production departments or operations areas based on workloads and needs. Assist inother non-production areas as may be required by supervision and management. Final check, cleaning, wrapping and tagging/logging of finished assemblies.

Fabrication/Part Processing Technician

Prepare lower-level sub-assemblies and components under the direction of the immediate supervisor. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Interpret and use drawings, process procedures and other written documentation to completepreparation and processing of components. Meet documented specification requirements and qualitystandards in a timely manner. Keep records of approved and defective units and final products. Maintain activity logs. Load processed parts on part carts as per pre-determined order in preparation for correct assemblysequence. Technician position is not limited to above descriptions. The technician should be ready to performany and all appropriate duties assigned by management.
