Job Title: Turbomachinery Technician II B Shift
Compensation: $46.20 per hour
Location: Onsite Kent, WA
Schedule: B Shift Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM 1:30 AM.
Technical Skills Needed:
Strong background in precision measurement with experience using tools like calipers, micrometers, and balance machines.Hands-on experience with mechanical hardware, with a minimum of 3 years in roles such as assembly or maintenance.Experience with turbomachinery is highly preferred, particularly in the context of propulsion or engine systems.Responsibilities:
- Perform precision assembly of turbomachinery components.
- Conduct detailed component inspections and precision rotor balancing.
- Calculate dimensional stack-ups to ensure proper assembly of components.
- Coordinate hardware processing including inspection, cleaning, and shipping.
- Manage hardware under critical cleanliness requirements.
- Assist engineers in reviewing design concepts and provide feedback for improvements.
- Innovate to improve processes and increase operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with assembly of turbomachinery, propulsion systems, or highly technical machinery.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow detailed work instructions.
- Strong mechanical skills with proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in propulsion assembly, integration, and testing.
- Technical degree or relevant certification.
- Advanced knowledge of precision inspection equipment and critical sealing techniques.
- Experience with 3D measurement tools and CAD software.
