In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for assembling components and products according to precise specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency at every step. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in your craftsmanship, we'd love to meet you!What You'll DoAssists the lead operators on production line equipment efficiently while maintaining Environmental, Health, Safety, Quality, and Production standards.Promotes and follows all EHS and Quality guidelines and procedures.Performs minor set-ups, cleaning and general operation of various filling and packaging machines.Ability to accurately account for production quantity, process scrap, production time, and traceability practices by filling out a daily production log.Recommends safety improvements as neededEnsures all housekeeping and equipment standards are met.Assists in training temporary workers to pick/place/pack/palletize.Able to conduct basic operation of cardboard baler, plastic baler, compactor, carton erector, pallet jack, and taper/tape gun.Provides support and assistance to other line teams as needed.What You BringHigh School Diploma/GED preferred.No previous experience is necessary, on-the-job training will be provided.Must be able to speak, understand, read, and write English.Must be able to perform simple math calculations.Must be computer literate.Why Permatex?We're more than just a manufacturer-we're a team dedicated to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
