Job Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated technician to join our team for a Weekend Shift full time position from Friday to Sunday, 6:00 am to 6:30 pm. This position is a direct hire opportunity and requires experience in soldering wires, which is essential for consideration. Company Benefits

Required Skillset
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and written work instructions
  • Ability to calculate basic shop math
  • Proficient in computer usage
  • At least two or more years of manufacturing experience, including assembly
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in electronics technology
  • Soldering experience
Responsibilities In this role, you will accurately and efficiently assemble and test products to meet customer quality and on-time delivery schedules. You may perform lock wiring, first-stage subassembly, and final detailing functions on routine assignments requiring limited judgment. You will actively contribute to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs, under direct supervisory guidance.
  • Perform basic assembly and test functions using mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Record test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives.
  • Produce and inspect assemblies that conform to product specifications, assembling and testing to customer and/or industry standards.
  • Perform touch-up or full surface painting of parts with finishing materials such as paint, lacquer, and glaze. Mix paint and clean parts.
  • Actively participate in lean initiatives by identifying and providing suggestions on areas for improvement.
  • Observe all safety rules and maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area.
  • Ensure all equipment is calibrated in accordance with the calibration schedule.
