Assembler (Tanker) - 2nd shift - Eaton Corporation, plc : Job Details

The Assembler (Tanker) is responsible for Tank substation and three-phase pad-mounted transformers, making all necessary connections to bushings, switches, etc. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous electrical assembly or wiring experience who is looking to grow in their career and skills. In this function, you will:Locate and move tanks, parts, and covers to assembly area. Assemble bushings and current transformers to cover or tank as specified. Mount core and coil in tank and bolts in place, clamp cover in place and makes all electrical connections to bushings, and mount tap changer, switches, current transformers, and vacuum fault interrupters. Locate and assemble all accessories, such as oil level gauges, thermometer, pressure-vacuum gauge, pressure relief device, etc. to the tank as specified. Check all lead clearances inside unit and assemble needed spacers and or insulating barriers as required.
