The Assembler position will support department goals regarding quality and quantity of production in a safe and respectful manner. Specific tasks may vary at different workstation assignments and as different product models are manufactured. Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts per work instruction into high quality product utilizing tools and fixtures
- Utilize test equipment to ensure product is assembled correctly per quality expectations and other standards
- Visually inspect parts and product for defects such as scratches, dents, slugs, pinched wires, etc.
- Utilize workstation computer to read schedule, match parts to work orders, view work instructions, scan parts into inventory software, etc.
- Adhere to safety standards
- Uphold quality expectations
- Train employees on procedures and techniques
- Assist in defining work instructions
- Housekeeping and workstation organization tasks
- Other duties as assigned
