Job Title: Manufacturing Associate
Job Description
Join our team as a Manufacturing Associate, where you will perform essential manufacturing activities including the production and inspection of products to ensure they meet customer requirements. You will be involved in simple cable assembly and connector operations to create high-quality products and convert raw materials into finished goods.
Responsibilities
Perform soldering and assembly tasks to build products according to standard rates.
Read job orders to understand product specifications.
Complete in-process inspections to ensure quality.
Utilize computer software for document retrieval and data entry.
Build simple point-to-point cables following drawings and instructions.
Demonstrate proficiency in using basic hand tools such as soldering guns, wrenches, hand strippers, trimmers, wire cutters, chop saws, and microscopes/magnifiers.
Complete all paperwork related to assembly processes.
Depending on skills, work in either the assembly department or UTiFLEX department, which involves machine work and supporting parts of cable production.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in assembly and hand tool usage.
Ability to measure accurately using a ruler or tape measure.
Willingness and ability to cross-train in various processes.
Flexibility and comfort working in a manufacturing environment.
Some computer experience and ability to perform data entry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with microscopes, compactors, and measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers is a plus.
No soldering certifications required, but beneficial.
Ability to learn and use necessary tools and equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
