Assembler

We are seeking a diligent and skilled assembler to join our production line. The role involves following detailed work instructions for assembly tasks, utilizing basic hand tools, and conducting visual inspections. Candidates will be responsible for using a computer to document and scan materials before and after assembly, ensuring quality control standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions and assembly steps accurately.
• Utilize basic hand tools for assembly tasks.
• Perform visual inspections of assembled products.
• Pass assembled products to the next team member or place on a rack for quality check.
• Use a computer to document and scan materials during the assembly process.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year assembly experience in a manufacturing setting.
• At least 6 months of experience using common hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills.
• Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical experience including car maintenance or home renovations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
