Experienced Panel Assembler

Location: Rock Island, IL

Overview:

As a Senior Assembly Technician, you'll lead complex mechanical assemblies, interpret advanced technical documentation, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure precision and quality in every build.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the assembly of intricate mechanical systems and subassemblies.

• Interpret detailed schematics, blueprints, and engineering instructions.

• Troubleshoot and replace failed components with minimal supervision.

• Align and position parts using manual techniques and mechanical hoists.

• Operate a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and precision machinery.

• Collaborate with engineers to refine assembly processes and resolve technical issues.

• Conduct final inspections and functional testing of assembled equipment.

Required Skills:

• Extensive mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.

• Advanced proficiency with hand and power tools.

• Strong ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and schematics.

• Experience with hydraulic systems and precision alignment.

Preferred experience:

• Prior leadership or mentorship experience in an assembly or fabrication role.

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
