PDS Tech Commercial is seeking skilled Assembler to support a leading client's industrial operations. This hands-on role is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals with experience assembling conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, and interpreting blueprints. Your Role and Impact

As an Assembler , you'll be responsible for building and testing mechanical systems that power industrial operations. You'll work with drive shafts, motors, and precision tools to ensure each assembly meets strict quality and safety standards.

What You'll Do

• Assemble conveyor systems and belt-driven components using blueprints and schematics.

• Install and test hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Affix motors, gearboxes, and drive components.

• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other precision tools.

• Track and log time sheets for each build.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other lift-assist tools.

• Transfer completed assemblies to the next production stage.

• Follow all safety standards and plant rules.

• Perform general maintenance on tools and equipment.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

• Comfortable with physical demands: standing, bending, lifting 40+ lbs.

• Computer literacy and ability to follow written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of industrial assembly experience (Class I)

• 1+ year of industrial assembly experience (Class II)

• Technical education or mechanical training.

• Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems and mechanical troubleshooting.

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.

• Pay Rate : $25.64/hr

• Shift : 2nd Shift - 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM (Training on 1st Shift until proficient)

• Interview Process : Onsite written assessment, interview, and site tour

• Union Opportunity : Temp-to-hire with union conversion after 90 days of strong performance

Pay Details: $25.64 per hour
