Assembler - Mayville Engineering Company : Job Details

Assembles parts with the aid of verbal instructions, print(s) or sample parts. Uses various types of riveting devices, hand tools, air guns and power devices to assemble parts. Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. Checks parts for quality and accuracy using basic inspection devices such as micrometers, verniers, scales, squares and gages. Inspects parts for various types of cosmetic specifications. Must be able to assemble at every station and process on the assembly line. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Qualifications One-three months of related experience is preferred. Must be able to read blueprints, quality measuring equipment, work orders, and follow instructions.
