Assembler - PGS Worldwide : Job Details

PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a Skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to support instrumentation and control system production for advanced missile systems in Archbald, PA. This is a full-time, hands-on role for individuals experienced in high-precision wiring, soldering, and mechanical assembly in a production environment. Position Overview: You will perform a wide variety of assembly tasks-ranging from repetitive to complex-on both electrical and mechanical components used in mission-critical aerospace systems. Your work will directly support the production of precision-guided missile subsystems and harness assemblies. Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and wire electronic and mechanical subassemblies including:
  • Circuit boards, panels, modules, drawers, frames, and cables
• Perform advanced soldering on fine-pitch, micro, and subminiature components
• Support the manufacture and termination of complex harnesses and connectors
• Operate specialized assembly tools such as:
  • Laser wire strippers
  • Coax processing equipment
• Read and follow engineering diagrams, schematics, and operations sheets
• Maintain compliance with internal quality and safety procedures
• Work efficiently in both repetitive and non-repetitive production environments

Basic Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience assembling electronic and/or mechanical subassemblies (e.g., panels, boards, drawers)
• Proven hands-on experience with soldering, wiring, and harness builds
• Experience supporting harness, circuit card, and mixed-technology assembly operations
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to pass background screening and drug testing

Preferred Qualifications:

• IPC certification in soldering and rework (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721)
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing
• Familiarity with electro-mechanical test equipment or inspection tools
