Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Assembler to join our skilled production team located in Decatur, Alabama. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, value consistency, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical components using various hand and pneumatic tools. This is a full-time, hourly position with a probationary period of 520 hours, after which you will be eligible for permanent employment.

Job Type: Full-Time

Starting Pay: $17.50

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 AM-3:30 PM

Requirements

Applicants must be able to read blueprints and diagrams, perform basic math calculations, and follow verbal and written instructions in English. The job requires the use of screwdrivers, drills, utility knives, and adhesives to complete sub-assemblies. Applicants should be able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and stand or walk for most of the shift. Forklift experience is preferred, but training is available for those without prior knowledge. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and cleanliness are essential.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with at least one year of experience in a related manufacturing or production setting. Successful candidates will be familiar with basic measuring tools and visual inspection procedures, and must be comfortable working with paints, chemicals, or insulation as needed.
