Assembler - Union City, CAPay Rate: $20.00/hourSchedule: Monday - Friday, 1st Shift A well-established manufacturer of precision medical equipment is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Assemblers for long-term opportunities at their Union City facility. This position offers consistent hours, a clean and organized work environment, and the chance to grow into more advanced responsibilities. Job Summary: Assemblers are responsible for putting together mechanical components or subassemblies using hand and power tools according to detailed work instructions and blueprints. The role is performed at workbenches or on the production floor in a team-oriented environment. Advancement opportunities are available for those who demonstrate strong performance and technical proficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical parts and subassemblies according to instructions, blueprints, and diagrams
• Use hand tools, power tools, and a drill press to complete tasks
• Perform basic quality checks using measurement and inspection tools
• Ensure components are properly fastened using screws, bolts, rivets, or other methods
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with safety and quality standards
• Assist with packaging and final product preparation as needed
• Cross-train in other assembly tasks and support team members when required
• Support training of junior team members based on skill level and experience

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with hand tools and basic assembly equipment
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and assembly drawings
• Manual dexterity and solid hand-eye coordination
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
• Basic verbal and written communication in English
• Prior assembly or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
• Leadership or training experience is a plus for senior-level roles
