Job Description Ultimate Staffing is seeking an Assembler for our client in Milpitas. This is a 100% onsite role with a starting pay of $19.00 an hour. Please read the job responsibilities before applying. This is AN ENTRY LEVEL ROLE. Shift : Monday-Friday 0600am -3:00pm Assembler is responsible for performing basic to moderately complex assembly tasks to transform components into finished products according to customer and quality requirements. This role supports production goals by following standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and work instructions. Assemblers may work in various areas including SMT, Electro-Mechanical, THT, or Technician-level work centers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform line setup and operate assembly equipment (e.g., printers, soldering machines, x-ray, AOI, etc.) Conduct manual soldering (lead and lead-free) Handle components and assemblies following ESD and MSD protocols Record production data including time, completion, and quality checks Visually inspect products for cosmetic and workmanship standards Assist with rework and repair to meet customer specifications Support mechanical and system-level assembly Participating in continuous improvement initiatives Maintain cleanliness of workstations and fixtures Follow all safety and quality procedures Minimum Qualifications: 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical assembly processes Ability to read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, and schematics Familiarity with ISO quality standards and documentation Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP preferred) Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Ability to lift to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
