Job description : Key Responsibilities :
- Perform general assembly, construction, and installation tasks according to work instructions, blueprints, and project specifications.
- Assemble and install structural, mechanical, or prefabricated components as required by the project.
- Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure assemblies meet required standards and specifications.
- Follow detailed safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Identify and report any defects, material shortages, or assembly issues to the supervisor.
- Work closely with the construction, quality, and project management teams to meet deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements in assembly operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in assembly, construction, or general labor roles preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret basic assembly drawings, schematics, and construction plans.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and work in varying construction environments (may require lifting up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]).
- Strong attention to detail and focus on delivering quality work.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and construction site protocols.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in general construction, structural assembly, or mechanical assembly is a plus.
