**What You Will Contribute:**

The Assembler Level 2 is responsible for assembling parts according to specified Work Instructions and/or Drawings and exhibits the ability to effectively complete critical component assemblies. This position may be required to rotate throughout the facility in a variety of assembly tasks. Below are the additional duties and responsibilities:

* Participate and Contribute to Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost continuous improvement efforts.

* Use Production system to record day-to-day customer order activity, view work instructions and report completed work.

* Use basic printing programs to complete customer orders when required for a specific job and make adjustments when needed on his/her own.

* Take initiative to ensure priority items are completed and when needed seek out additional information from lead or Supervisor.

* May be responsible for basic training of others in department.

* Use basic Hand, battery, electric and pneumatic powered tools to complete assemblies.

* Navigate through basic LX screens to identify Inventory requirements and status as needed and utilize system as required to make adjustments.

* Perform basic 5S and Lean concepts to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient workplace

* Responsible for understanding a wider variety of soldering, gluing and centering to specific tolerances which includes multiple areas/products. (Analytical Technologies Only)

* Responsible for gas calibrations to test sensors. (Analytical Technologies Only)

* Able to use function generators and multimeter test equipment. (Analytical Technologies)

****Qualifications:****

* High School diploma or GED

* Associates Degree or vocational training desired

* 3 plus years of assembly experience

* Basic computer skills including previous experience with an ERP system and Microsoft Office

* Strong attention to detail

* Able to work effectively in a team environment

* Enthusiasm and ability to work well in busy environment

* Good attendance required
