Position Title: Assembler

Department: Production Reports to: Area Lead Wage Range: $17–$23/hour

Position Summary:

The Assembler plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by performing a variety of tasks to ensure high-quality product assembly and compliance with industry standards. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work within a team-oriented production environment.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Obtain and maintain certifications in IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.

  • Meet all production requirements, including:

    • Reading, understanding, and navigating Fusion documentation.

    • Successfully completing the Component Identification Quiz.

    • Operating in-line washers and depaneling products according to work instructions.

    • Performing accurate in-process inspections.

  • Perform potting, prepping, stuffing, and selective solder operations as required by the team.

  • Assist the Shipping Clerk as needed.

  • Ensure that all products are tagged, bagged, packaged, and labeled in accordance with customer and/or shipping specifications.

  • Follow work instructions and customer requirements to ship products accurately.

  • Complete all computer transactions quickly and accurately.

  • Navigate and use multiple software applications to support production tasks.

  • De-kit jobs and return components to appropriate inventory locations.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. person as defined under ITAR (22 CFR 120.15 and 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20)).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Basic computer proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current certification in IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
