Assay Lab Technician - Ssr Mining : Job Details

Include, but not limited to: sample preparation, weighing samples, and performing gold analyses using AA spectrophotometer and gravimetric methods. Additional tasks may include preparation of analytical standards, safe disposal of waste materials and accurate/precise data and record keeping (Excel and Word). Key Areas of Responsibilities & Duties: Work in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain a safe attitude and looks out for others. Participate in good housekeeping in all areas of the Assay Lab and maintain a clean work environment in equipment and light vehicles. Actively participate in safety meetings and incident investigations. Perform daily work area inspections and Pre-op inspections of any light vehicle/equipment used. Perform sample preparation tasks including crushing, pulverizing (ring and puck and Rock Labs)Perform lead acid digestions. Perform fire assays on pulp, carbon and bullion samples.
