Job Description :

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is a growing road construction company. We are seeing an experienced Asphalt Plant Manager for our local operations. The Asphalt Plant Manager will manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the asphalt plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the overall operations of the asphalt production plant, including production, scheduling, and maintenance
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve plant efficiency, safety, and performance
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and policies, and develop safety training programs for all employees
  • Ensure the quality of the asphalt produced and communicate with customers to meet their expectations
  • Developing and managing project schedules with contractors
  • Overseeing the preparation of cost estimates, production records, and other reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field preferred
  • 5 or more years of experience in asphalt production and plant management
  • Knowledge of asphalt plant operation, maintenance and safety procedures
  • Experience in project management, scheduling and monitoring
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different teams
  • Must be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver's license
  • Employer conducts drug screening and background check
