3rd shift Asphalt Mixing Operator - Tuscaloosa, AL Pay: $18.00-$20.00- depending on experienceShift: 9:00 pm to 7:00 amMonday - Friday / Every other weekendLocation: Tuscaloosa, ALPrideStaff is currently seeking an experienced individual to fill the position of Asphalt Mixing Operator. This is a full-time position in a manufacturing/production environment with inside and outside work. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and monitor asphalt mixing tanks.
• Responsible for an asphalt stillyard area.
• Ability to unload asphalt trucks.
• Ability to learn multiple jobs and perform them safely and effectively.
• Read and interpret detailed procedures and follow them accurately.
• Be able to work with limited supervision.
• Performs general housekeeping in designated or other assigned areas.
• Ability to take information from a daily production schedule and apply to production requirements.
• Support facility in meeting departmental goals in safety, productivity, quality and continuous improvement.
• Ability to identify problems, determine root cause and assist with resolution.
• Ability to work any shift, extended hours with minimal notice, and work weekends when needed.
• Any other duties or tasks as may be assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to stand and work for multiple hours at a time, climb stairs and ladders, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work alternating shifts, including weekends when needed.
• Must pass drug screen and background check
• Must have reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic
