Description We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Arts & Crafts Specialist to join our summer day camp team. This seasonal role is responsible for planning and leading engaging arts & crafts activities that inspire campers to explore their creativity. As part of our camp team, you will contribute to a fun, nurturing, and safe environment where all children feel valued and encouraged. Our camp is part of a larger mission-driven organization committed to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. • At least 1 year of experience in arts & crafts instruction, education, or a related field.
• Prior experience as a camp counselor, art instructor, or specialty director at a day or resident camp is preferred.
• Strong ability to develop and lead arts & crafts projects tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
• A positive role model with integrity, adaptability, and creativity.
• Ability to supervise, engage, and instruct children in a safe and encouraging manner.
• Must be safety-conscious, observant, and able to react quickly in an emergency.
• Current First Aid, CPR, AED, and O2 administration certifications (or willingness to obtain before the start of camp).
• Must complete required new employee trainings and onboarding sessions.
• A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record are preferred.
