Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to:
Ensure proper amounts of batter are poured into pans.Evaluate the size, height, and weight of products throughout the shift, making adjustments to equipment or products to meet client specifications.Set up, dismantle, and clean equipment according to specifications.Report equipment repairs and maintenance needs to management.Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Passion for working in a bakery, with 2-5 years of related experience.
- California Food Handlers Card required for all foodservice employees involved in food preparation, storage, or service.
- Willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Experience with deck ovens, rack ovens, and spiral mixers is preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful but not required.
- Ability to read recipes, safety documents, and other work-related materials.
