About the Role:

Experienced Hands-on Gen AI Lead to join the team and spearhead the development and implementation of innovative AI solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Gen AI developers, setting technical direction, and driving the development and deployment of cutting-edge applications powered by large language models (LLMs).

Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Gen AI developers, providing guidance, support, and technical direction.
• Solution Architecture: Design and implement scalable, API-based Gen AI solutions using LLMs like Gemini, PaLM 2, OpenAI GPT, Dolly, Claude 2, Cohere, etc., through their API endpoints.
• Prompt Engineering & LLM Integration: Develop best practices for prompt engineering to optimize LLM performance and seamlessly integrate LLMs into applications using frameworks like LangChain.
• Vector Database Expertise: Lead the selection and implementation of vector databases like Milvus, Pinecone, Chroma, or FAISS to efficiently manage and search data for LLM applications.
• Experimentation & Analysis: Drive experimental design, analyze results, and rapidly adapt to new LLM model releases and advancements.
• Data Engineering & Pipeline Creation: Oversee the design and development of robust data pipelines to load structured and unstructured data from source systems into target data stores, leveraging your data engineering expertise.
• Collaboration & Maintenance: Foster collaboration with Gen AI Architects and other team members to ensure alignment and successful product delivery. Manage the maintenance of existing data pipelines and infrastructure to support AI solutions.

Requirements:

• Strong Programming Skills: Expertise in Python, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Extensive Data Analytics Experience: Proven track record in the data analytics space, ideally in a senior developer role within a modern technology stack.
• API Development Expertise: Ability to design and build highly scalable API-based solutions, including API documentation and testing.
• Debugging & Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve software or design issues efficiently.
• LLM Integration & Prompt Engineering: Hands-on experience integrating LLMs via APIs and a deep understanding of prompt engineering principles, including techniques for optimization and fine-tuning.
• Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage, motivate, and guide a team.
• Desirable Skills:
• Cloud Platform Experience: Hands-on experience using cloud services like Azure, GCP, or AWS for storage, serverless functions, search, transcription, and chat.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $ 94000

Pay Range Maximum: $ 193600

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate's pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
