Armed Security Guard - Chenega Corporation : Job Details

We are seeking highly skilled, experienced Armed Security Guards, well versed in physical security operations to join our team in support of secuity operations at the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO). Responsibilities Report directly to the Security Shift Supervisor, promptly informing them of any unusual or emergency situations. Enforce all applicable standard operating procedures and government regulations related to the security of weapons, buildings, personnel, government property, and equipment. Arrive at work in proper uniform and with required issued equipment, ensuring both are clean and well-maintained. Exercise force up to, and including, deadly force when necessary. Participate in Guard Mount and carry out general and special orders for the assigned post. Communicate effectively via radio, telephone, and orally in English. Interact and escort public and government personnel as required.
