We're in search of team leaders who would like to run a business as if it were their own. An Area Operations Director is responsible for facilitating the operations of 5-7 stores within a region. He/She will report to the Vice President of Operations and work closely with Regional District Sales Managers to ensure a high level of customer service.

• Manage daily branch operations of multiple locations within an area
• Hire and develop team associates
• Open and develop new greenfield operations
• Assist in managing branch locations in the absence of branch managers
• Ensure safe business practices and conduct store operation audits
• Conduct inventory audits, manage purchasing, and oversee facility security
• Manage inventory, costs, fleet, logistics, and warehouse operations
• Manage damage and loss prevention, policies, and regulatory compliance

• Preferably a 4-year BS in Marketing/Sales or Business
• 5-10 years of roofing distribution experience
• Successful management of a high-volume roofing distribution facility
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial roofing products
• Willingness to travel 50% or more
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Internet
• Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated, enthusiastic
• Excellent customer service, management, organizational, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Dependable with a valid driver's license and good driving record
• Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a drug test
