Area Manager - NY/NJ/CT - French Libation : Job Details

French Libation is a small wine company based out of France. Our company is the link between French winegrowers and the American market, specializing in hand crafted wines & ciders. We strive to make French wines more approachable and represent terroir driven producers that express the diverse regionality of France.Summary:We are excited to be expanding our sales team and are searching for an experienced sales person that specializes in the NY, NJ and CT markets. This is a full-time position, focused on direct relationship with key off and on premise accounts. We offer a competitive employment package that includes a yearly salary, annual bonus program, healthcare package provided through an HRA, monthly car/travel expense allowance, and an annual trip to France.Responsibilities- Manage all business within the states of New York & New Jersey- Develop sales of our wine portfolio in each market within our key accounts- Identify new accounts, develop territorial sales strategy for brand portfolio, diversification and penetration in each account.- Relationship builder with key decision-makers and provide excellent customer service- Conducts retailer and wait staff trainings to help create ambassadors for our portfolio- Able to organize market visits with sales management and visiting winemakers- Provide proactive feedback on market happenings, opportunities, changes, gaps, challenges and competitive activity. Qualifications:- Must have at least 5 years wine industry sales experience in NY- Travel: 40% minimum required- Possess a strong network of retail contacts- Demonstrate success in business development and increasing case volume- Takes initiative, is reliable and adaptable to work well independently and on a team- Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit, is self motivated, and energetic- Strong knowledge and passion for wine- General computer knowledge with a focus on Word, Excel, and Power Point required- Ideally centrally based in the Tri-state areaSpecial consideration will be given to candidates with:- Proficiency or fluency in FrenchPlease send us a cover letter and resume to [email protected] Look forward to hearing from you.Job category: Sales and Marketing
