Base pay range

$175,000.00/yr - $195,000.00/yr

This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Caribbean.

Only candidates with relevant hospitality finance experience will be considered.

Job Title: Area Director of Finance

Location: Caribbean (location will be shared with qualified candidates)

Salary: USD $175,000–$195,000 + Housing Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

A leading hospitality group in the Caribbean is seeking an experienced Area Director of Finance to oversee the financial operations of two luxury resort properties. This strategic role supports the General Managers and Regional Team to ensure financial excellence, compliance, and operational alignment across both hotels.

Key Responsibilities:

● Lead all accounting functions across hotel and F&B operations.

● Prepare and review timely financial reports in compliance with USALI and GAAP.

● Provide forecasting, cash flow analysis, and monthly P&L oversight.

● Maintain balance sheet accuracy and conduct quarterly reviews.

● Ensure compliance with legal and ownership agreements, taxes, and treasury management.

● Partner closely with asset managers and attend ownership reviews.

● Oversee pre-opening and transition financial planning for new projects.

● Guide, train, and mentor on-property Finance Directors and accounting teams.

● Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Revenue, and Sales teams on financial strategy and budgeting.

What We're Looking For:

● Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business (CPA or Master's preferred).

● Minimum 5 years in a Director-level hospitality finance role.

● Expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and strategic planning.

● Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.

● Proficiency in Excel and major accounting platforms (PeopleSoft, SAP/BPC preferred).

● Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
