The Area Coordinator for the Office of Residence Life & Housing is responsible for fostering a vibrant, student-centered residential community by providing leadership, mentorship, and support to students living within the Scranton community. This position plays a key role in creating an inclusive and welcoming environment. Reporting to an Assistant Director of Residence Life & Housing, the Area Coordinator oversees the day-to-day management of residential communities, including student support, staff supervision, and crisis response. In collaboration with campus partners, this role assists with housing assignments, facilities coordination, and administrative processes to enhance the student experience. The Area Coordinator supports the Universitys Jesuit mission by cultivating a sense of belonging, promoting student success, and fostering an environment that encourages personal growth and a strong sense of community.
