We've spent the last 40 years becoming a versatile architecture and engineering (A/E) firm offering comprehensive services in architecture, civil, environmental, transportation, and construction monitoring. With offices in Buffalo, Rochester, and New York City, our interdisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and community builders collaborates closely with clients to create lasting and meaningful designs.We are currently seeking an Architectural Project Manager to join our Rochester office. In this role, you will work closely with clients and lead the design team, overseeing architectural projects from concept to construction.Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
  • Familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD
  • Project management and client communication skills
Plus skills:
  • Knowledge of local NYC building codes and regulations
  • Experience with public-sector work a plus (industrial, commercial, and educational sectors)
  • NYS Professional Architect License
  • Experience with public-sector and/or School Construction Authority (SCA)
Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with Clients and Stakeholders to understand expectations, develop the design, and implement construction documents in a timely manner
  • Manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity
  • Oversee an inter-disciplinary team including internal staff and external subconsultants
  • Maintain dynamic communications with clients, staff, consultants, and contractorsOversee the development of contract documents, perform quality reviews and coordinate the work with each discipline for comprehensive project delivery
  • Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering their professional growth and enhancing their technical skills
  • Prepare construction document packages independently
