RDG is expanding our College & University market and we're looking for a market leader with a focus on project management, client relationships, and business development to join our team.

This leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong network in the college and university market, a passion for higher education design, and the ability to manage teams and projects at a strategic level. You'll spearhead marketing and business development efforts, forge strong client relationships, and identify new opportunities.

Our ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, proactive, and driven to create impact. They should be eager to build relationships, mentor emerging talent, and expand RDG's presence in the region. Essential Job Functions
  • Serve as the higher education market leader, establishing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Oversee project management efforts, ensuring quality, efficiency, and strategic alignment with institutional goals
  • Lead business development initiatives, identifying opportunities and collaborating with RDG's marketing team
  • Work with RDG's College & University team to develop long-term market strategies
  • Mentor and support staff in professional development and project execution
Requirements
  • Strong leadership, written and verbal skills to instill confidence and trust
  • Ability to grow RDG's brand and market share
  • Critical thinking, soft skills, relationship-building, and execution strengths
  • Design communication and presentation skills
  • Experience building long-term relationships with team members and clients
Education & Experience
  • 15+ years of architectural experience, including leadership in higher education design
  • Strong project management skills with a successful track record
  • Established relationships with colleges and universities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to grow RDG's market presence
  • Licensed architect or ability to obtain licensure
