Architect - JMS Technical Solutions : Job Details

15th August, 2025 Our client, a top integrated architectural and engineering firm in Buffalo, NY, is looking to add an Architect to its team! This is an on-site/full-time/direct hire position Salary range based on experience: $40-$55/HR The successful Architect in this role will be involved in all stages of building and space design-from groundbreaking new construction to transformative renovations. You'll collaborate across disciplines to deliver client-focused solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design functional, code-compliant, and aesthetically compelling spaces.
• Prepare construction documents and specifications; conduct modeling and calculations.
• Perform field surveys to assess existing conditions.
• Support construction administration and coordinate with contractors and project teams.
• Lead project milestones and contribute to the design process from concept through completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in building design and construction documentation.
• NY Architecture license preferred, but not essential.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of building codes and industry standards.
