Appointment Clerk - Old Dominion Freight Line : Job Details

Answer incoming calls and place outgoing calls to customers to schedule pickups and delivery. Enter appointments in the computer in a timely manner. Perform general customer service by responding to emails, status of shipments, helping customers correctly complete Bill of Ladings and label freight, etc. Provide Service 2. OD to internal and external customers Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent preferred 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in the transportation industry. Strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience AS 400 preferred. Working Days:Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday,Working Shift:AM / PM - Work Days and Shift are estimates and are subject to change, at any given time, based on job scheduling and/or business levels.
