In this role, you will pioneer the application of machine learning and generative AI to revolutionize the growth tooling and analytics experiences for our global 3rd party partners and customers who rely on Prime Video.Why you'll love it: You'll be in unique position to leverage your deep technical expertise and data-driven insights to drive transformative growth for Prime Video's 3rd party partner ecosystem. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you will work directly with Senior Engineering, Product, and Science leaders to create impactful products using the latest advancements in the space. You will be responsible for inventing AI solutions using the right frameworks and technologies, while keeping the overall architecture simple, maintainable, and highly resilient. You'll be part of a fast-paced, collaborative team dedicated to empowering our global 3rd party partners with best-in-class marketing, merchandising, promotional, and analytical tools to optimize their content and monetization strategies on Prime Video.Key job responsibilitiesYou Will Be Responsible For

• Creating AI and machine learning solutions to drive growth and optimization for Prime Video's 3rd party partner ecosystem
• Collaborating cross-functionally with software engineers, product managers, data engineers, and senior scientists to tackle complex, business-critical challenges with a focus on high-impact outcomes
• Leveraging strong problem-solving skills and excellent judgment to make data-driven trade-offs that balance partner needs, technical feasibility, and long-term maintainability
• Continuously learning and staying curious about the latest advancements in machine learning and Generative AI, acting as a thought leader and sharing insights with your team

These growth tools empower our partners to optimize their content, marketing assets, and monetization strategies on Prime Video.Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of building models for business application experience
• PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
• Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building machine learning models for business application
• Experience with generative deep learning models applicable to the creation of synthetic humans like CNNs, GANs, VAEs and NF

The base pay for this position ranges from $136,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,400/year in our highest geographic market.
