About the Role:

The Application Specialist role is ideal for mechanically inclined candidates with experience supporting complex processing systems in food manufacturing environments. This position centers on technical field support while conducting equipment installations, live product testing, and operator training. Travel is expected across North America, with regular on-site presence at leading processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pre-sales scoping efforts by advising on optimal machinery configurations for customer applications.
• Lead on-site installations and ensure successful equipment setup and operator handoff.
• Conduct live demos and product testing to validate machinery performance in plant environments.
• Deliver hands-on operator and maintenance training post-installation.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and after-sales support to maintain long-term customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to align field feedback with continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and operate automated processing systems.
• Bachelor's Degree in meat science, food science or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing or processing environments.
• Willingness to travel for customer site visits and technical support.
