Ensure the provision of specific state-of-the-art tech.expertise regarding surface tech. and coating dev. with corres. dev. of equipment, deposition processes, sources, electrolytes, peripherals, racks, assembly and analysis knowledge to intern./extern. customers from research to series production. Ensure individual consulting for internal/external customers regarding nanotechnology or coatings (coating and coating process). Ensure definition of the global company standards for coatings, or lab analysis methods (physical and chemical). Ensure development of new materials, coatings and coating processes, tribological systems hand in hand with our suppliers, research institutes and other partners. Ensure the support of the surface technology labs worldwide by setting standards and trainings. Ensure coating related failure analysis. Ensure supplier development for coatings worldwide.
