Job Description :

Akkodis is seeking an Application Programmer for a Contract job with a client in Pennington, NJ(Hybrid) . The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of financial applications. You will manage batch/business queries, incident management, and use tools like ITSM, JIRA, and ITRS. Rate Range: $70/hour to $73/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Application Programmer job responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining software applications.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging applications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 5+ years of programming experience & Production Support experience.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
  • Experience with database management and SQL.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
