Serves customer base and offsite account managers by analyzing RFQ and customer specifications, preparing costing documents and technical written proposals for OEM and EMP.
Responsibilities:
- Review request for quotation for clarification and definition. Contacting offsite account managers and customers for further clarification and definition.
- Review “provided” customer specifications (mechanical drawings and technical write-ups) for scope of supply analysis.
- Develop new technical proposals.
- Design and/or draw concepts to meet customer requirements via CAD (20% of proposals prepared required).
- Acquire costing data for computing margin pricing via company computer systems and programs.
- Calculate selling price according to company guidelines, procedures, and processes.
- Maintain organized proposal logs and files in company designated databases.
- Create and maintain full costing traceability and accuracy.
- Develop and implement customer specific proposals.
Qualifications
- Relevant bachelor's degree in engineering or 2–5 years of relevant experience in Sales, Engineering, or Proposal Group with bachelor's degree.
- Ability to commute to LaGrange, GA office (some work from home available)
