The Apple House Cashier is responsible for processing Apple House transactions in an efficient, professional and courteous manner. This is a seasonal position, scheduled to begin July/August - December. Duties:
- Cashiering
- Customer Service; greet and assist guests
- Stocking apples and gift items
- Inventory control; receiving and pricing products
- Daily sales reconciliation
- Opening and closing cash register
- Working with manager to merchandise displays
- Light housekeeping
Qualifications - High school diploma or GED desirable.
- Ability to mulit-task.
- Previous cashiering, cash handling, or customer service experience preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs pounds may be required infrequently.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in a varied environment of hot, cold, etc.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and evenings.
