Appian Developer - BayNova : Job Details

BayNova has an exciting opportunity for an Appian Developer to join our team supporting a federal government client in a fully remote role. Job Responsibilities: Gather knowledge about bottlenecks or critical needs and implement rapid solutions. Design and develop business logic, process models/flows, and UI screens in a BPM system. Collaborate with Business Analysts to investigate requirements, prototype solutions, and validate acceptance criteria. Coordinate with team members for fixes, testing, and configuration management. Support operational patch build processes. Develop SQL, update data models, and implement database best practices. Manage daily tasks using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo). Coordinate with DevOps for releases. Maintain data integrity, security, and standards. Prepare and maintain SDLC documentation. Maintain DoD 8570 IAT II certification, obtaining it within 6 months if not already certified. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Appian development and current credentials. Knowledge of BPM platforms and supporting tools like Splunk. Understanding of web development, Agile methodologies, and source control (GIT). Ability to obtain a CSSLP or similar certification. U.S. citizen or Green Card holder, able to pass background checks. Additional Skills: Understanding of containerization platforms like Docker/Openshift/Kubernetes. Customer service orientation, adaptability, and strong communication skills. Experience with Appian add-on tools and translating requirements into applications.
