Job title: AppDynamics Analytics Job Location: Charlotte, NC Work Model: Onsite Job Summary: This role is instrumental in enhancing system monitoring and analytics, with a strong focus on Python, AppDynamics, and Splunk administration. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for driving operational excellence and contributing to impactful, growth-oriented initiatives. Key Responsibilities: • Migrate Dashboards & Alerts: Plan, execute, and enhance migration from AppDynamics to Splunk. • OpenTelemetry Instrumentation: Implement OpenTelemetry-based instrumentation for applications and services. • Data Pipeline Setup: Configure data pipelines for real-time metric streaming, trace collection, and alerting. • Dashboard Optimization: Optimize dashboards to ensure clear insights for LOB and event monitoring. • Automation: Develop Python scripts to automate configuration migration tasks. • Integration Testing: Integrate observability solutions into cloud environments (AWS) and DevOps workflows (CI/CD). • Testing & Validation: Validate the new monitoring setup against the previous one to ensure data fidelity. Required Skills: • AppDynamics (Analytics & End-User Monitoring) • Splunk Administration • Python • DevOps Concepts Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. • Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and their application in project management. • Proficiency in Python scripting and automation. • Experience with AppDynamics and Splunk. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
