The Fitness Consultant is responsible for promoting and selling memberships to potential new members and selling renewals/upgrades to current gym members.
Major Responsibilities:
Generate sales through Company–sponsored (walk-ins and TI's) and employee-sponsored (outreach and promotions).Maintain accurate records of all Company-sponsored and employee-sponsored memberships and sales.Follow up on all prospects using established Gold's Gym sales systems.Conduct telephone inquiries following Gold's Gym sales protocols.Establish and maintain a minimum of 10 lead boxes/bowls in the community monthly.Develop and sustain a referral program as per Gold's Gym standards.Stay current on Gold's Gym pricing and promotional schedules.Maintain comprehensive knowledge of club history, background, philosophy, facilities, staff, and policies.Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures related to gym operations.Develop and improve selling skills continuously.Prepare for, attend, and actively participate in sales meetings.Foster positive relationships with staff and support team members in achieving their goals.Participate in all scheduled meetings as directed by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.Complete all required FC Training courses successfully.Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred. An Associate or Bachelor's degree is advantageous.Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills.Ability to pass all testing requirements, including gym tours, telephone inquiries, counselor planner audits, guest card audits, lead box/bowl programs, referral programs, and outreach initiatives.Ability to meet monthly sales units targets.Thorough understanding of Gold's Gym membership sales systems.Knowledge of the Daily Sales Stat report and its interpretation.Basic computer skills.Current CPR Certification.#J-18808-Ljbffr
