Anticipated Full Time Custodian (ECC) - Wayne NJ Public Schools : Job Details

Under supervision of the Custodial Supervisor, in consultation with the School Principal, the Custodian completes daily custodial duties and responsibilities for district facilities. All custodians are expected to provide a healthy, safe and efficiently operated school environment. SHIFT ASSIGNMENT: Specific duties and responsibilities of a day (1st shift) and night (2nd shift) custodian will be assigned by the Custodial Supervisor(s) in coordination with the Head Custodian, Building Principal or designee. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Grounds: Daily: Removes paper, cans, and trash from the grounds. Keeps the playground equipment in safe condition. Performs proper grounds maintenance such as: mowing, trimming, edging, trimming trees and shrubs, weeking planters and flower beds, and other such related duties.
