Annuity Product Marketing Lead

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Annuity Product Marketing Lead to drive the development and execution of marketing strategies for our annuity product suite. This role is responsible for driving market growth, competitive positioning, and marketer/agent engagement through effective product messaging, sales enablement, and go-to-market (GTM) initiatives. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of annuity products, and the insurance/retirement market, IMO, Broker/Dealer and Bank distribution channels paired with strong marketing acumen and leadership skills.

Summary/Objective

Strategic and results-driven Annuity Product Marketing Lead responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and sales enablement initiatives to drive growth and engagement across annuity product lines. This role requires deep expertise in annuity products and distribution channels, along with strong leadership and marketing acumen to support cross-functional collaboration and campaign performance optimization.

Essential Functions

  • Develop compelling messaging and value propositions for fixed and fixed indexed products tailored to target audiences including agents, consumers, and distribution partners.
  • Lead the GTM planning and execution for new product launches and enhancements, ensuring alignment across product, sales, compliance, and marketing teams.
  • Marketing Campaign Development
  • Partner with creative resources and agencies to create integrated marketing campaigns including digital, print, webinars, and in-person events.
  • Equip wholesalers, advisors, and distribution partners with the tools, collateral, and training they need to effectively position annuity products.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
  • Performance Tracking & Optimization
  • Define KPIs and analyze campaign performance to inform strategy and improve ROI.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Compliance, Legal, and IT teams to ensure cohesive execution and regulatory adherence.
  • Technology
  • Leverage technology to optimize marketing execution, measure performance, and implement scalable strategies that support long-term growth.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in financial services or insurance
  • Deep understanding of annuity products, including fixed, indexed, and variable annuities
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to translate complex financial products into clear, customer-centric messaging

Preferred Education and Experience

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Experience working with broker-dealers, IMOs, or RIAs
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM tools

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours as needed in order to complete tasks and meet deadlines.

Travel

Minimal travel is expected for this position.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be eligible to work in the United States.
